Evidence-Based Treatments
At Solara, you can be confident that your therapist is certified in several treatments that are proven to be effective.

Please note that your therapy does not have to be limited to the treatments below. Therapy can be flexible and tailored to your needs.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based approach that helps people build psychological flexibility — the ability to stay present, open up to their experiences, and take meaningful action aligned with their values. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or feelings, ACT helps you accept them as part of being human, while committing to behaviors that support a fulfilling and purposeful life. ACT is especially helpful with stress management, depression, anxiety, and other general life struggles.

Cognitive Processing Therapy
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is an evidence-based treatment for various types of trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It helps individuals identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs related to their trauma, with the goal of reducing distress and improving daily functioning. Through structured sessions, CPT supports healing by helping you make sense of what happened and reducing the impact of the difficult emotions often associated with trauma and PTSD.

Internal Family Systems
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach based on the idea that our minds are made up of different “parts,” each with its own perspective and role. Some parts may carry pain or protect us from it, while others help us function day to day. IFS helps you understand and heal these parts by connecting with your core “Self” — the calm, compassionate center within you. Through this process, IFS supports deep emotional healing and greater inner harmony.

CBT- Insomnia
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment for chronic sleep difficulties. It helps you identify and change unhelpful thoughts and habits that interfere with sleep. CBT-I combines sleep education, behavioral strategies (like sleep scheduling), and cognitive tools to improve both the quality and quantity of your rest — without relying on medication. The duration of treatment is short (approximately 6-9 sessions) and often improves other mental health related concerns linked to poor sleep, such as lack of motivation, anxiety, and depression.
